Fun in the Sun is staffed by experienced teachers and counselors. The counselors have themselves attended Fun in the Sun. This makes them especially qualified in that they are well known by the teachers and they have the advantage of truly knowing the program and its expectations.

Kate Frank

I’m a third-grade teacher at Roxborough Christian School and I’m an experienced camp counselor. I enjoy running, crocheting, and cheering for Philadelphia’s amazing sports teams, Go EAGLES!

I love doing arts and crafts with the campers and this summer I’ll be introducing our youngest campers to the joy of literacy during story time.

Kate is also the Aquatic Director at Fun in the Sun. If you are interested in swim lessons for your child please contact Kate directly.

Jade Swisher

I’ve been a camper with Fun in the Sun since I was 7 years old and I have been a counselor for over six years. I just completed my junior year at Alvernia University, majoring in occupational therapy. I enjoy biking, listening to music, and spending time with my friends and family.

My favorite activities at camp are teaching arts and crafts, playing dress-up, and putting on shows with the campers.

Zach Webster

I just graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, with a Master of Philosophy in Education degree. While this is my first year at Fun in the Sun, my beautiful fiancée, Shequoya, has told me so much about camp that I feel I already know most campers.
